WHAT IS YOUR FEE?
My fee for individual therapy is £45 for a 50-minute session face-to-face at my room in Reigate or £40 online.
WHY ARE YOUR FEES A LITTLE LOWER THAN AVERAGE?
I believe that counselling should be accessible to as many people as possible, which is why I set my fees at a lower rate than the local average. This decision isn’t a reflection of my qualifications or experience, but rather a commitment to making support available to those who might otherwise struggle to afford it. My training and expertise are in line with professional standards, and I am fully qualified to support you on your journey. For more information on my qualifications and experience, please visit the About page.
HOW OFTEN WILL I SEE YOU?
I typically see individual clients once per week. Seeing each other weekly allows for the work to move along at a good pace.
DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
I am not currently registered with any insurance companies.
WHAT IS THE BACP?
The BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) is a professional body that sets standards for ethical, safe, and effective counselling practice in the UK. They provide accreditation, guidance, and support to counsellors while ensuring clients receive high-quality care. I am a BACP Accredited Member which means I have demonstrated, via a rigorous assessment process, a higher level of training, experience, and competence beyond the standard required for registration.
DO YOU SEE COUPLES OR CHILDREN?
At this time I do not work with couples or children. If you are struggling in your relationship, get in touch and we can discuss how I can support you as an individual in your relationship.
HOW WILL I KNOW IF YOU'RE THE RIGHT THERAPIST FOR ME?
This is an important question. You are dedicating time and resources and want to be sure you are picking the right person. There are logistical factors to consider (office location, availability etc) as well as personal factors (my training and experience, personality match etc). The free, online meeting I offer should be able answer some of these questions. I find that clients usually get a good sense straightaway if I am someone they would like to work with but, if you're not sure, we can always book in a session which would help provide you with more information. There is no minimum number of sessions that you have to sign up to and you can stop at any time. It can also be a good idea to meet with a few different therapists (especially if they offer free introductions/calls which many do) and you can see how different your response is to each before you make any decisions.
